About us

Established in 2022 by Becky, River Meadow Flower Farm is the apotheosis of our ambition to make a living from the land using sustainable farming practices. Growing beautiful, seasonal cut flowers should not come at the expense of our planet, but should instead enhance the health of the soil and nurture our wildlife. Our ‘grown not flown’ flowers are available from April-October. 

Becky can frequently be found hosting talks and tours of the cutting garden, whilst husband Sean tends to the livestock on the farm. Stewardship of the land is in Sean’s blood as a 5th generation hill farmer. Looking after the pollinators and invertebrates on the flower farm has been an integral part of the plan for the wider farm and ensures the farm continues to be sustainable and healthy for future generations.
